Corporate social & environmental responsibility: taking concrete action

At Naturacare’s five production sites, we believe that innovation, design, and manufacturing only make sense when they serve people, health, and the planet. Our CSR policy turns this conviction into tangible commitments, carried out by our teams and partners, in line with the highest international standards.

Exemplarity begins on the ground. Our French site, certified ISO 14001 since 2024, represents the first step in a global approach aimed at extending this certification across all our sites: in the Netherlands and Italy (Modena) since November 2025, in Belgium since December 2025, and in Italy (Milan) by April 2026.

This collective initiative brings our teams together around a shared objective: making each site a benchmark for environmental management and sustainable performance.

Reducing our environmental footprint

Climate change is a global challenge and we are addressing it through measurable, science-based actions.

Our first carbon footprint assessment (2023), conducted in 2025 for Scopes 1 & 2, will be followed by complete assessments for Scopes 1, 2 & 3 (2024–2025).
This data forms the foundation of our Carbon Sobriety Plan, deployed across all Naturacare sites.

Ambition: reduce Naturacare’s Scope 1 & 2 GHG emissions by 20% by 2028 (vs. 2023).

Action Plan:

  • Continuous training and awareness-raising on environmental culture for all employees
  • Installation of solar panels at our sites in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands
  • Green electricity contracts for our Italian sites
  • Machine-level energy monitoring systems to optimise environmental performance

Commitment to workplace safety

Naturacare’s growth is, above all, a human story driven by the dedication of our employees.

Their safety and well-being at work are among our top priorities and form an essential foundation of our collective excellence.

Ambition: reduce the accident frequency rate (TF1) by 20% by 2028 (vs. 2024).

Action Plan:

  • Implementation of a Group-wide Safety Policy by 2026
  • Ongoing “Safety Best Practices” training for all employees
  • Visual communication and regular awareness campaigns
  • Cross-site internal audits to share best practices and promote a safety-first culture

Driving a circular and sustainable economy

At Naturacare, sustainability lies at the heart of our industrial strategy.
We believe that performance and resource preservation go hand in hand.
We are committed to rethinking our production processes to encourage reuse, recycling, and recovery, reducing environmental impact while creating value across our supply chain.

Ambition: increase the share of recycled waste by 5.6% by 2028 (vs. 2024).

Action Plan:

  • Achieve ISO 14001 certification across all Naturacare sites by 2026
  • Sign organic waste recycling contracts for all production units
  • Conduct systematic material-loss analyses during production to minimise waste and improve recycling rates

Designing sustainable solutions

Eco-design is an integral part of our innovation process.

As a CDMO, we consider each product’s entire life cycle, from sourcing raw materials to end-of-life, with the objective of minimising environmental impact and maximising resource value.

Ambition: offer increasingly eco-responsible, recycled, and recyclable packaging solutions.

Action Plan:

  • Use recycled and recyclable materials (cardboard, glass, rPET, stainless steel)
  • Optimise packaging volume, weight, and logistics impact
  • Conduct ongoing R&D to identify more sustainable production alternatives

Building responsible growth together

Our CSR commitment is not a promise. It is a direction. We strive every day to make progress by combining innovation, performance, and responsibility. Together with our partners, we are moving toward a more sustainable and forward-looking model of growth. Let’s make a difference together.
