The shell of our softgels is designed with the utmost care to ensure optimal quality and a pleasant sensory experience. It is usually composed of bovine or marine gelatin, combined with glycerol, purified water, and specific ingredients such as flavours or colourants. Each shell composition is optimized to ensure perfect compatibility between the shell and the fill, while meeting regulatory and sensory expectations within the nutraceutical market.
A controlled formulation, from the shell to the active core
We optimize both the capsule shell (bovine or marine gelatin, glycerol, water, flavors, colorants) and the fill material to ensure compatibility, stability, regulatory compliance, and a premium sensory experience. The capsule core may include:
- Oil-based solutions for liposoluble actives (omega 3 & 6, essential oils, fish oils…)
